Seville Pre-trip, May 29-June 1, 2024

Ronda, Spain

Welcome

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Controversies in Perioperative Medicine Conference will take place in Andalucia, Spain, June 1-7, 2024.

Our conference has come to stand for outstanding innovative continuing medical education combined with custom travel at the highest level. Every trip we push ourselves harder to take the conference to greater heights.

We will base ourselves in Ronda, a historic town of about 30,000 people and perched over an immense canyon spanned by three stunning bridges – The Roman Bridge, The Arab Bridge and The New Bridge which dates to 1751 despite its name!   Our Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria is located in the center of town with cafés, restaurants and tapas bars on its doorstep.  But at the same time, it is surrounded by an immense garden/park overlooking the gorge and has both a huge outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool and spa.  The best of all worlds.

Naturally, we will eat and drink well.  Olive groves and vineyards are everywhere and one evening we will enjoy a private dinner at an organic olive oil estate.  On another evening, we will split into smaller groups and have a Spanish guitar concert followed by a gourmet dinner.

But of course, we take as much pride in delivering an outstanding, innovative perioperative medicine education program – with expert speakers, novel teaching methods, essential topics and engaged participants.  As educators – we guarantee it.
And if you have time, please join us for the pre-trip in Seville, a city full of history and architectural wonders that boasts three UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies.

Opportunities like this don’t come along too often.  Space is limited and room size will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis.  The last few programs have had long waiting lists so don’t delay.  We truly hope that you can join us in 2024 for what promises to be a very special journey to the town of Ronda in beautiful Andalucia.

If you are interested in joining us, fill out the reservation form found on this website and submit to Benefactor Travel through their secure server. Space is limited.
